Myanmar mangoes and spices:
Another form of love

So Pyae Win Co. Ltd. is a Myanmar agricultural company, primarily producing delicious mangoes. We also produce garlic, ginger, lemongrass, black cardamom, star anise, and Sterculia resin.

So Pyae Win was founded by Ms. Chan Mya, a young woman and business owner with a passion and love for agriculture.

We work closely with 30 local farmers (28 youth) over 400 hectares in Mandalay, central Myanmar. Farms are in Mandalay, Kyaukse region, Han Myint Mo Village.

Most farmers have some education, and with the income they make from selling their mangoes, can send their children to school.

All our mango growers are trained to follow good agricultural practices (GAP). We are also developing our own mango nursery to maintain our high-quality produce.
Last year, we exported 350 tons of produce to China, and sold 50 tons domestically. So Pyae Win is preparing for GAP global and HACCP certifications, sending samples to Europe to be tested.
In the next 12 months, So Pyae Win aims to:

Our values

Honesty

Ensure our promise of quality matches up to our claim

Equality

Our operations focus on women and youth empowerment and betterment. Women and men are paid the same for the same job

Justice

Fairness between customer, price, and quality

Supporting farmer livelihoods

We encourage farmers to diversify their crops for better incomes. This includes sesame, rice and other household foods. Some beekeepers come to farms that grow sesame seeds. This also enhances pollination and greatly improves fruit quality.

We work with farmers on value adding such as producing dried mango. We also train farmers in micro finance and to better plan for health and education.

Our mangoes

Loved by the Chinese. Second most popular choice after Sein Ta Lone. Sweet flavours. Sold fresh and dried.
Padamyar nga mak Ngemount

“Sein Ta Lone is the best mango that I ever eat. I like mangoes myself. I think it is a very beneficial fruit to humans and it tastes attractive. Our Sein Ta Lone mango is very good quality and a precious fruit.
When we sell to other countries, we get positive feedback that it is a very good quality fruit. So, I try to promote the fruit.”
